Using the site
RecapDB is a free recap library. By using it, you agree to a few simple ground rules.
Commenting
You are welcome to share takes, criticism, and questions. We ask that you:
- Don’t post personal attacks or harassment.
- Don’t spam, promote unrelated products, or paste affiliate links.
- Don’t share illegal content or copyrighted material you do not have rights to.
- Don’t impersonate anyone, including our staff writers.
We moderate comments and may edit or remove ones that break these rules. Repeat issues can result in an account being suspended.
Our content
Recaps, reviews, and editorial writing on RecapDB are created by our team and protected by copyright. You may quote a short passage with clear attribution and a link back to the original page. You may not:
- Republish whole recaps, or substantial parts of them, anywhere else.
- Scrape, bulk-download, or systematically copy the site’s content.
- Use our content to train or fine-tune an AI model, or to generate paraphrased or competing material, without our written permission.
Search engines and AI assistants that cite or link the original page, and send readers back to it, are welcome. Wholesale copying, with or without paraphrasing, is not.
Images, posters, and stills are owned by the studios and distributors who made them. We show them under editorial fair use to discuss the work being recapped.
Affiliation and trademarks
RecapDB is an independent recap library. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any television network, studio, streaming service, or production company whose work we cover. All show titles, character names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used here only to identify and discuss the work.
User-submitted content
When you post a comment, you keep ownership of what you wrote but give RecapDB a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it on the site and in summaries such as the weekly digest. You can delete your comments anytime.
Accuracy and warranty
We work to keep recaps accurate, but spoilers, plot details, and metadata occasionally get something wrong. The site is provided as is, and we cannot promise it is error-free or always available. If you spot a mistake, email [email protected] and we will review and correct it.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, RecapDB is not liable for losses arising from your use of the site. Recaps contain spoilers by their nature. That is the point of the site, and reading them is your choice.
Accounts and suspension
Community accounts are created through Google sign-in. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or remove accounts that repeatedly break the rules above, attempt to abuse the system (bulk scraping, vote manipulation, comment flooding), or that we have reason to believe are operated by bots.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms over time and will note the last-updated date at the top. Continued use of the site after a material change means you accept the new terms.
